The Mission Run in the Ozarks is an inaugural event that features a 5k, 10k, and half marathon through streets and back roads (all pavement) of Mountain View. The events will start on the east side of the Stone County Court Square and spectators will be allowed to encourage participants along the challenging, but yet, adventurous hills! Parking will be available on the east side of the court house on E. Washington Street. Events will be timed by Agee Race Timing (See website for additional info). Registration is through Agee Race Timing and packets can be picked up on Friday evening April 12, 2013 from 6pm-8pm at Mountain View Chamber of Commerce (107 N PEABODY AVE MOUNTAIN VIEW AR 72560) and Saturday morning April 13, 2013 at 6:30am on the court square. Water stations will be available throughout the course, along with medical and volunteer personnel. Restrooms available on court square and portapotties throughout the course. Post-race activities and other refreshments will be available. T-shirts and medals are guaranteed to all who register. The first 100 registrations will receive an authentic Kenyan bracelet! Kenyan T.E.A.M. missions which includes a family from Mountain View that is in final preparation for the mission field in Kenya Africa (See website). This race is being established as an annual event to generate funds for village mission work and humanitarian outreach in the coastal regions of Kenya.

The Mission Run in the Ozarks will present medals to all who cross finish line and awards will go to the first place finisher in the following age groups:
Female and Male 5-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15, 16-18, 19-25, 26-37, 38-45, 46-55, 56-64, 65+. Age is according to race date (April 13, 2013).
